Tony Romo was asked by DeMarco Murray if he was willing to take a pay cut for him to re-sign with the Dallas Cowboys.

"DeMarco ended up asking me, 'Why don't you take a pay cut?' I said, 'I will. I would take a pay cut to go do this,'" Romo said. "I was like, 'They're going to restructure me.' That's the same thing in some ways, just for the salary cap purposes. He was like, 'OK, now we're back to being friends again.' I would take $5 million less if meant getting him back.

"He knew that. It was just funny how he was literally worried about that part of it for a week. I'm like, 'That's not the reason.' I'm like, 'Obviously I'll restructure. I would even take a pay cut.' He was like, 'OK, we can be friends again.' It's amazing what you think about in those moments."

Murray eventually signed with the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Baltimore Ravens have signed Matt Schaub to a one-year deal.

Schaub spent last season with the Oakland Raiders.

Demaryius Thomas will skip the Denver Broncos' offseason program.

Thomas was assigned the $12.823 million franchise tag early in March.

Boycotting offseason practices is the tactic most utilized by franchise players seeking some semblance of leverage in long-term negotiations.

Hakeem Nicks is visiting the San Francisco 49ers this week.

Nicks hasn't received any interest in the free agency market to date after catching 38 balls for 405 yards last season with the Indianapolis Colts.

Nicks has battled with injuries and drops since his 2011 season.

B.J. Raji will re-sign with the Green Bay Packers on a one-year deal.

Raji, 28, missed all of last season after injuring his biceps during the preseason. This is the second straight one-year deal for Raji, who inked a $4 million deal with the Packers last year.

Letroy Guion replaced Raji last season also re-signed with the Packers on Monday.

Miles Austin will sign with the Philadelphia Eagles assuming he passes his physical.

Austin played in 12 games last season with the Cleveland Browns, catching 47 balls for 568 yards and two touchdowns.

Austin has dealt with injuries throughout his career.

The Carolina Panthers have signed Jarrett Boykin.

Boykin is coming off a third season with the Green Bay Packers where he caught just three balls for 25 yards.

Darrelle Revis drew interest from the Green Bay Packers and Baltimore Ravens before ultimately signing with the New York Jets.

"(It) was the Packers, Steelers, Baltimore as well as Cleveland, the Chiefs, the Jets and also the Pats, so there was a number of teams there," he said. "I sat down and had conversations with (them) to see if we could work something out."

Revis was asked if there was anything the Patriots could have done to keep him from leaving after one season.

"You know they had the opportunity, they had a number of options to do a number of things," he said. "I had an option for $20 million they could have picked up and they didn't decide to which is fine. They tried to negotiate another deal so you know that was just something I had to go through as well."

Ray Rice remains a free agent and hasn't had any reported talks or visits with any NFL teams this offseason.

While Greg Hardy and Ray McDonald signed contracts already, Rice remains ignored following his domestic violence case.

Both John Harbaugh and Chuck Pagano hope Rice gets a second chance.

Jim Caldwell said he believes some team will give Rice a second chance.

There have been 16 running backs who have signed deals in the first 15 days of free agency, including the Raiders signing Trent Richardson and his 3.3-yard per carry average.

Kellen Davis has signed a one-year deal with the New York Jets.

Davis was a fifth round pick by the Chicago Bears in 2008 and played there until 2012.

Davis, a 6'7 tight end, last played in the NFL in 2013 with the Seattle Seahawks.
